Job description
We are looking for a Frontend-Focused AI Engineer who can drive the development of our AI-powered platform s frontend. The ideal candidate should have expertise in NextJS, React, and TypeScript, along with experience in building scalable, robust APIs. This role also requires comfort with AI-assisted development tools (like Cursor) to accelerate delivery and enhance engineering productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performing, scalable, and responsive frontend applications using NextJS, React, and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend services.
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot) to optimize development workflows and accelerate feature delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end product features.
- Implement best practices in frontend architecture, performance optimization, and security.
- Drive innovation by integrating AI-driven components into the frontend for enhanced user experiences.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in NextJS, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience in building and consuming APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, etc.).
- Experience in frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying frontend apps.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.).
